Terms of Service
Last updated: 20.08.2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NeuroSound website, AI music generation service and related products and services available at neurosound.net (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service or purchasing any track credits. By creating an account, using the Service or purchasing a credit pack, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. About NeuroSound
The Service is operated by OBJECT&FORM LIMITED, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom.
Company number: 17413696
Registered office: Initial Business Centre Unit 7, Wilsons Business Park, Manchester, United Kingdom, M40 8WN
Email: hello@neurosound.net
In these Terms, "NeuroSound", "we", "us" and "our" refer to OBJECT&FORM LIMITED.
"You" and "your" refer to the person or legal entity using the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. In that case, "you" includes that entity.
2. The Service
NeuroSound is an AI-powered music generation service that allows users to create music from text descriptions, lyrics, musical concepts and other permitted inputs submitted through the Service.
The Service may use artificial intelligence technologies and licensed third-party AI models, infrastructure and other service providers to generate music.
Music generated through the Service ("Generated Tracks") may be stored in your NeuroSound account and made available for listening and download in the formats and quality specified on the applicable product or pricing page.
A "Paid Generated Track" means a Generated Track created using a track credit purchased from NeuroSound.
The features, generation limits, available formats, processing times and other characteristics of the Service may vary between products and credit packs. The information displayed on the applicable purchase page forms part of the description of the relevant product.
Because the Service uses AI-based technologies, the characteristics, quality and content of Generated Tracks may vary between generations.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service and purchase paid products.
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 16. You must not use the Service if you are under 16 years old.
You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account and must keep that information up to date.
You may not use the Service if doing so is prohibited by applicable law or if you are subject to sanctions, restrictions or other legal requirements that prevent you from using the Service.
4. Accounts
Some features of the Service require you to create an account.
You are responsible for:
- providing a valid email address;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- keeping your account information accurate and up to date;
- taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account; and
- activity carried out through your account, except where such activity results from unauthorised access that is not attributable to your actions or failure to take reasonable security precautions;
You must notify us promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed or used without your permission.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, you may maintain only one account and must not create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing credit limits, free-generation restrictions, promotional conditions or other limitations of the Service.
You must not create an account using false, misleading or unauthorised information.
We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe that it is being used fraudulently, abusively, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.
5. AI-generated music
NeuroSound uses artificial intelligence to generate music. AI-generated results are probabilistic and may vary from one generation to another, even where identical or similar inputs are used.
You acknowledge that:
- Generated Tracks may contain unexpected elements;
- Generated Tracks may not fully match your description or expectations;
- similar or substantially similar outputs may be generated for different users;
- NeuroSound does not guarantee that every Generated Track will be unique;
- NeuroSound does not guarantee that a Generated Track will qualify for copyright or other intellectual property protection in every jurisdiction;
- NeuroSound does not guarantee that a Generated Track will be free from all possible third-party intellectual property claims;
- NeuroSound does not guarantee that a Generated Track will be accepted, distributed or monetised by a particular third-party platform; and
- the availability, functionality and characteristics of AI-generated music may change as the underlying technology and third-party services develop.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to represent that an AI-generated work is automatically protected by copyright or that you automatically own copyright or other intellectual property rights in every element of a Generated Track.
The contractual licence applicable to Generated Tracks is described in Section 10 and in our AI Music Licence & Intellectual Property Policy.
6. Your inputs
You may provide text descriptions, lyrics, titles, musical references and other materials to the Service ("User Inputs").
You retain your rights in User Inputs to the extent that such rights exist and are owned by you.
You are responsible for your User Inputs and must ensure that you have all rights, permissions and authorisations necessary to submit them to the Service and use the resulting Generated Track for your intended purpose.
You must not submit material that:
- infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- contains personal data that you do not have the right to submit;
- contains confidential information belonging to another person or organisation without authorisation;
- unlawfully reproduces lyrics, recordings, melodies or other protected material;
- impersonates or falsely represents another person;
- is unlawful or intended to facilitate unlawful activity; or
- otherwise violates these Terms or applicable law.
NeuroSound does not claim ownership of User Inputs merely because you submit them to the Service.
You grant NeuroSound a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process and otherwise use User Inputs solely to the extent necessary to provide, operate, secure and maintain the Service, including generating the music you request.
Where the provision of the Service requires User Inputs to be processed by third-party AI providers or other service providers, those User Inputs may be transmitted to and processed by those providers solely as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Prohibited uses
You must use the Service lawfully and responsibly.
You must not use the Service to:
- infringe or facilitate infringement of any third-party intellectual property or other rights;
- create or distribute unlawful content;
- create or distribute child sexual abuse material or any other content involving the sexual exploitation of minors;
- generate content intended to facilitate fraud, scams or material deception;
- impersonate a real person in a manner intended to deceive;
- imitate or clone a real person's voice, identity or likeness without the necessary rights or authorisation;
- falsely claim that a real person, artist or performer created, performed or endorsed a Generated Track;
- use the Service to circumvent technological restrictions, security measures or access controls;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract data or content from the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to obtain the underlying source code, models or systems, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- resell, sublicense or otherwise provide unauthorised access to the Service or its music generation functionality;
- use automated means to access the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- interfere with the operation, security or integrity of the Service;
- use the Service or its underlying technology to develop or operate a competing automated music-generation service without our prior written permission; or
- use the Service in any other manner prohibited by applicable law.
We may remove or restrict access to User Inputs or Generated Tracks, refuse a generation, or suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to enforce these restrictions, protect users or third parties, comply with applicable law, or protect the security and integrity of the Service.
8. Track credits and credit packs
NeuroSound provides access to music generation through track credits.
NeuroSound currently offers the following one-off credit packs:
Starter — €9.00
- 50 track credits;
- WAV and MP3 downloads;
- commercial licence for Paid Generated Tracks created using the purchased credits; and
- credits do not expire.
Creator — €19.00
- 150 track credits;
- WAV and MP3 downloads;
- commercial licence for Paid Generated Tracks created using the purchased credits;
- credits do not expire; and
- priority generation queue.
Studio — €49.00
- 500 track credits;
- WAV and MP3 downloads;
- commercial licence for Paid Generated Tracks created using the purchased credits;
- credits do not expire; and
- email support within 24 hours.
All credit packs are purchased as one-off payments. Credit packs do not automatically renew and do not create a recurring payment obligation.
One successful music generation consumes one track credit.
A credit is not consumed if a generation fails due to a technical error attributable to the Service.
A generation is considered successful when a Generated Track has been successfully created and made available for use or download through the Service.
Unused credits do not expire.
Credits are associated with the account on which they were purchased.
The features and benefits included in each credit pack are those stated above and may also be described on the applicable NeuroSound Pricing or purchase page. The applicable price and product information displayed at the time of purchase will apply to the relevant transaction, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Promotional or complimentary credits may be subject to additional conditions stated when those credits are issued.
Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, sold or otherwise resold unless we expressly permit this.
We may correct an obvious error in the credit balance of an account where a technical malfunction, fraud or other error has resulted in credits being incorrectly added or deducted.
9. Free generations and promotional credits
From time to time, NeuroSound may provide free generations, promotional credits, referral credits or other complimentary access.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Generated Tracks created using free or promotional credits are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
Purchasing track credits at a later time does not automatically convert a previously generated Free Generated Track into a Paid Generated Track or grant commercial-use rights to that track, unless NeuroSound expressly states otherwise.
Free and promotional credits may be subject to additional eligibility requirements, generation limits, expiry dates or other conditions stated when they are offered.
We may withdraw or modify a promotional offer where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, fraud or misuse.
Any rights that have already accrued to you under the stated conditions of a promotional offer will not be removed except where permitted by applicable law.
10. Licence to Paid Generated Tracks
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and successful payment for the applicable credit pack, NeuroSound grants you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to use each Paid Generated Track for commercial and non-commercial purposes.
Subject to these Terms, the AI Music Licence & Intellectual Property Policy and applicable law, this licence permits you to:
- use the Paid Generated Track in personal and commercial projects;
- reproduce the Paid Generated Track;
- download and store the Paid Generated Track;
- distribute and make the Paid Generated Track available to the public;
- publicly perform the Paid Generated Track;
- communicate the Paid Generated Track to the public;
- synchronise the Paid Generated Track with video, animation, games, advertising and other visual media;
- use the Paid Generated Track in monetised content;
- use the Paid Generated Track in podcasts, social media content, websites and other digital media;
- use the Paid Generated Track in films, games, applications and other creative projects;
- use the Paid Generated Track in advertising and promotional materials;
- provide the Paid Generated Track to clients as part of a client project. A client who receives a Paid Generated Track as part of a client project may continue to use the track as part of that project after your work for the client has ended, subject to the terms and scope of the rights granted to the client. This does not by itself transfer ownership of any copyright or other intellectual property rights in the Paid Generated Track to the client;
- distribute the Paid Generated Track through digital music distributors and streaming platforms; and
- otherwise commercially exploit the Paid Generated Track to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The licence is intended to allow you to use and monetise your Paid Generated Tracks without paying NeuroSound additional royalties based solely on your use or monetisation of those tracks.
The licence does not require you to attribute NeuroSound unless we expressly state otherwise.
The licence for a Paid Generated Track does not expire solely because you stop using the Service or close your account, provided that the applicable track was generated in accordance with these Terms and the required payment was successfully made.
Purchasing a credit pack does not transfer ownership of the NeuroSound Service, its software, models, technology, trademarks or other NeuroSound intellectual property to you.
The scope of this licence and the legal status of rights in Generated Tracks, including copyright and other intellectual property rights, are further described in the AI Music Licence & Intellectual Property Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Streaming platforms and digital distribution
You may distribute a paid Generated Track through third-party music distributors and streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and similar services, subject to the rules, policies and requirements of those platforms.
NeuroSound does not control third-party platforms and therefore does not guarantee that a particular platform will:
- accept a Generated Track;
- classify it in a particular way;
- allow monetisation;
- approve it for distribution;
- continue hosting it; or
- provide any particular level of visibility, royalties or revenue.
You are responsible for complying with the applicable terms, policies and disclosure requirements of the platform or distributor you use.
You must not make false or misleading claims about the human authorship, performance, endorsement or origin of a Generated Track.
12. Intellectual property in Generated Tracks
The legal status of AI-generated music and the scope of any applicable intellectual property rights may vary depending on the applicable law, jurisdiction and circumstances in which a Generated Track was created, including the nature and extent of any human creative contribution.
The fact that NeuroSound grants you a contractual licence to use a Generated Track does not necessarily mean that copyright or other intellectual property rights exist in every element of that track or that such rights are owned by you in every jurisdiction.
Where copyright or other intellectual property rights arise in a Generated Track and are capable of being licensed by NeuroSound, the licence granted under these Terms and the AI Music Licence & Intellectual Property Policy applies to those rights to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
Further information about copyright, ownership, licensing, commercial use and the legal status of AI-generated music is provided in the AI Music Licence & Intellectual Property Policy.
13. No exclusivity or uniqueness guarantee
Because NeuroSound uses AI-based generation technologies, we do not guarantee that:
- a Generated Track is unique;
- another user will not receive a similar or substantially similar output;
- similar melodies, rhythms, structures, sounds, genres or musical characteristics will not appear in another Generated Track;
- a Generated Track will qualify for copyright or other intellectual property protection;
- a Generated Track will be registrable with a copyright office or other authority; or
- you will receive exclusive rights in every element of a Generated Track.
Your licence gives you the contractual right to use the applicable Generated Track. It does not prevent the independent generation of similar material or create exclusivity over general musical ideas, genres, styles, techniques or concepts.
14. Artist names, voices and styles
NeuroSound is not intended to enable users to impersonate real artists or falsely represent that a particular artist created, performed or endorsed AI-generated music.
You must not use the Service to create or distribute a Generated Track that unlawfully reproduces or imitates a real person's voice, identity or likeness.
References to real artists, performers or other individuals must not be used in a manner that is unlawful, deceptive or infringes third-party rights. References to genres, musical characteristics or styles must not be used in a manner that violates applicable law.
You are responsible for reviewing your intended use of a Generated Track and obtaining any additional permissions required for your particular use.
15. Ownership of the Service
The Service and all materials made available through it, excluding User Inputs and rights in Generated Tracks as expressly addressed in these Terms and the AI Music Licence & Intellectual Property Policy, are owned by or licensed to NeuroSound.
This includes, without limitation:
- the NeuroSound name and branding;
- logos and trademarks;
- website design and interface;
- software and source code;
- databases;
- documentation;
- text and graphics;
- platform architecture;
- proprietary technology;
- prompts, systems and workflows; and
- other materials provided by NeuroSound.
You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of NeuroSound's intellectual property.
16. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports or other feedback concerning the Service ("Feedback"), you grant NeuroSound a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify and otherwise exploit that Feedback for the purpose of improving, developing and operating our products and services.
Feedback does not include your User Inputs or your Generated Tracks.
17. Payments and pricing
Prices are displayed on the applicable NeuroSound pricing page.
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable purchase page:
- prices are displayed in EUR;
- payments are made using the payment methods made available at checkout;
- any applicable VAT or other taxes are charged as required by law and will be shown at checkout where applicable; and
- credit packs are purchased through a one-off payment and do not automatically renew.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.
A purchase is completed when payment has been successfully authorised and the applicable credit pack has been made available to your account.
If a payment is reversed, charged back or otherwise not successfully settled, we may suspend or restrict access to the credits or Generated Tracks associated with that payment to the extent reasonably necessary to address the unpaid amount, fraud or payment abuse.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.
18. Refunds and consumer rights
Our refund rules are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law, including rights relating to the quality, conformity and performance of digital content and services.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Where applicable law requires your express consent to begin supplying a service before the end of the cancellation period, or an express acknowledgement that you will lose your statutory right to cancel once the supply of digital content begins, we will request the relevant consent or acknowledgement at the applicable stage of the purchase process.
For further information about refunds, cancellation and statutory remedies, please see our Refund Policy.
19. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- maintenance;
- updates;
- technical failures;
- infrastructure problems;
- third-party service interruptions;
- security incidents;
- events outside our reasonable control; or
- other operational circumstances.
AI models and third-party technologies used by NeuroSound may change over time. As a result, the characteristics, quality, speed, availability or style of Generated Tracks may vary.
We may introduce, modify or remove features of the Service where reasonably necessary to maintain, improve, secure or develop the Service.
Where a change materially affects a product or contractual obligation that you have already paid for, we will not use this right to deprive you of rights or benefits for which you have already paid, except where a change is required by law, necessary for security, or otherwise permitted by the applicable contract and law.
20. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you:
- materially breach these Terms;
- engage in fraud or attempted fraud;
- misuse promotional offers or credits;
- infringe third-party rights;
- use the Service unlawfully;
- compromise the security of the Service or other users; or
- create a material risk to NeuroSound, its users or third parties.
Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before terminating an account, unless immediate action is necessary because of legal, security, fraud or safety concerns.
Termination or closure of your account does not automatically terminate a licence in a paid Generated Track that was validly granted to you before termination, except where revocation is permitted by applicable law or these Terms as a result of fraud, unlawful conduct or another material breach that directly relates to the relevant licence or Generated Track.
Any provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, licences already granted, liability, dispute resolution and governing law.
21. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies.
Where User Inputs contain personal data, that personal data may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
22. Third-party services
The Service may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including AI model providers, hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers and other technology providers.
Third-party services may have their own terms, policies and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability, content, policies or decisions of third-party services, except to the extent that applicable law makes NeuroSound responsible for acts or omissions relating to the Service.
We may change or replace third-party providers where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure or improve the Service.
Where a third-party service is necessary for us to provide the Service, we will take reasonable steps to maintain suitable alternatives or restore functionality where reasonably practicable, but we cannot guarantee the continued availability of any particular third-party provider.
23. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the Service will meet every individual preference or expectation.
We do not guarantee that:
- every Generated Track will be suitable for a particular creative purpose;
- Generated Tracks will always be error-free;
- Generated Tracks will always be available for download;
- Generated Tracks will be commercially successful;
- a Generated Track will generate revenue;
- a Generated Track will be accepted by a distributor or streaming service;
- a Generated Track will qualify for copyright or other intellectual property protection;
- a Generated Track will be free from all possible third-party claims; or
- the Service will operate without interruption.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, condition, guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes any statutory rights or remedies relating to the quality, conformity or performance of digital content or digital services.
24. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- breach of statutory rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights or remedies. Nothing in this section limits or excludes any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded in relation to digital content or digital services.
Subject to the above and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NeuroSound will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, except to the extent that such loss or liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If you are using the Service in the course of a business, NeuroSound's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will, to the maximum extent permitted by law, be limited to the greater of:
- the total amount you paid to NeuroSound for the Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- EUR 100.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
25. Indemnity
If you are using the Service in the course of a business, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify NeuroSound against reasonable losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from a third-party claim to the extent that the claim results from:
- your unlawful use of the Service;
- your User Inputs;
- your infringement of third-party rights;
- your breach of these Terms; or
- your violation of applicable law.
This section does not require you to indemnify NeuroSound for losses caused by NeuroSound's own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.
Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights.
26. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the Service, a purchase, a Generated Track or any other matter relating to NeuroSound, please contact us at:
Please provide sufficient information for us to identify your account, transaction and the nature of your complaint.
We will make reasonable efforts to review and respond to complaints within a reasonable period.
27. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to notify you where required by law.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or benefits that you have already acquired under a completed transaction unless this is required or permitted by applicable law.
Where permitted by applicable law, your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for your future use of the Service.
If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the Service and, where applicable, exercise any cancellation or other statutory rights available to you. Nothing in this section affects rights or licences that you have already acquired under a completed purchase
28. Assignment
You may not transfer your account or your contractual rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our prior written consent, except where such transfer is permitted by law.
We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganisation, sale of assets or similar transaction, provided that such transfer does not materially reduce your rights or protections under these Terms or applicable law.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
30. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we waive our right to enforce it later.
Any waiver must be expressly given and will apply only to the specific circumstance for which it was given.
31. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, AI Music Licence & Intellectual Property Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and NeuroSound concerning your use of the Service.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific product or purchase-page term, the specific term will apply only to the extent that it expressly relates to the relevant purchase and does not modify the licence or intellectual property rights applicable to Generated Tracks unless the change is expressly stated.
Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights.
32. Governing law and jurisdiction
If you are a consumer, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except that you will retain any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the laws of the country in which you live.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory consumer protection rights available in their country of residence or from bringing proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
If you are using the Service in the course of a business, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and, subject to applicable law, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
33. Contact
